Welcome to FontFX ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FontFX is a Canva plugin that enables users to create Chinese text effects directly within the Canva canvas, including italic, stroke, gradient fill, neon, arc text, and more. The Service offers:

• Free Plan: 5 daily uses with basic text effects
• Premium Plan: One-time payment of $14.9 USD for lifetime access to all features with unlimited uses

3. Account & Access

Use of the Service requires a Canva platform account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payment & Billing

• The Premium plan is a one-time payment of $14.9 USD with no recurring subscription fees.
• Payment is processed through Lemon Squeezy, a third-party payment platform.
• All prices are in USD and do not include applicable local taxes.
• Upon purchase, you will receive immediate access to Premium features.

6. Intellectual Property

• The FontFX software, design, code, and brand are the intellectual property of FontFX.
• You own the copyright to the text effect images you create using FontFX.
• You may use outputs created through the Service for personal or commercial purposes.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Attempt to circumvent Free plan usage limits
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or infringing activities
• Resell, sublicense, or share your Premium access

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain stable service operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service operates within the Canva platform; changes or outages on Canva may affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any significant changes.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as-is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, FontFX is not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
• Service interruptions caused by third-party platform changes (including Canva)
• Loss or corruption of user data

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FontFX's total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to FontFX in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date on this page will be revised accordingly. For material changes, we will notify you through appropriate means. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service without prior notice if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court, Taiwan.
